Assemblage: Medicines
This body of work, assemblages created between 2010 and 2016, was shown in multiple venues throughout Los Angeles. Working from a position of reimagined personal folklore, the pieces function as spiritual medicine, redefining cause and effect. This series was heavily influenced by Waronker’s time at the Science Museum of Minnesota, working with their sacred indigenous collections, preparing objects for repatriation.
