Climb into the alphabet soup. In among the A's, the B's, and the C's, We look to see what we can see.
Between the carrots and tomatoes, there's something mysterious here.
Did I see a cat? Or was it a fox! Wait! Who left their shoes behind the clock?
Oh, come in! Come in, and have some tea.
Surely you see, it's just We.
The Ones who visit in the night
in your dreams
in your sleep
in your grand imaginings
Oh, maybe you think We're the naughty ones
with our scales and our claws.
or is it the tail that gives you pause?
Or my pointed tongue?
It makes it easier to spear the O's, you see?
Will you jump in? Do you swim?
Yes. Dive deep into the soupy cave of make believe where powerful beings dwell.
Some are strangers. Some you know well. Some are the mysteries you crave to tell.
And, Oh! Tell we!
Come
to the stars
and down
down below
Come to play here
And come to know all about the universe
And cats and dogs
And listen to geese squawking which is really just their talking
By the way, did you see my teeth? They help me eat
I was born from an egg kept under a leaf
Can you steer the canoe while I spear a U?
And what we catch, we'll surely share.
(I always forget to change my underwear)
Z's are for Sleeping
C's are for seeing
U's are for you
and D's is We's
